As a vocalist, periodically take the time to engage in a serious self-reflection and look deep within. Your instrument is a very personal gift to give your audience because it is an actual part of you. Take a moment to reflect on your past challenges, your past triumphs, and your future goals; vocally and personally. This will make you a better person, which in turn makes you a better performer. Always remember that who you are comes out in your performance. What you eat, drink, and what is in your spirit is openly pronounced when you begin to sing, so work on improving these areas of your lifestyle. Live your life with the mindset that you are a vocal motivator, and when you begin to produce sound, you are uplifting your audience, no matter what genre of music you sing.

May you and those that surround you be blessed!
